i flashed to icarus 1.1 yesterday and everything works great, althouhg im really thinking about going to cm6 but have a few questions. as of now is there anything that does not work in cm6 or any issues people have been running into? i see there are a few different write ups how to install it, which should i go by since they differ a bit. thanks

I have been running CM6 for almost a month now, and it works great. There are a few people that have had some screen orientation issues, but those are fixable, and it is an upgrade from Icarus. You will need to upgrade your Clockwork Recovery Mod to a newer version, but other than that the install is very close to Icarus, with the exception of once you flash the ROM zip, you then flash the Google apps zip as well. I believe you can flash with your current cwm. 2.XXX will flash all three roms.

theres no issues with cm6, and its a big jump from icarus v1.1 and its smoother with everything working including mms. now you can make a backup of your current rom and go here CM6-Ascend - Prepaid Android and get both files, and try it out, if for any reason you dont like it or something didnt go right you can restore your backup in cwm in 5 minutes or less. Also flashing this rom cm6 and cm7 only takes 5 minutes or less. Good Luck!!!

You don't need to upgrade your clockwork mod. I went from Icarus to CM6 a few weeks ago, and didn't upgrade my clockwork mod. Everything works fine.
