Case-Mate Pop! Case

Hopefully I'll be able to get one this evening when he gets off of work. In the meantime, I can do a side by side with the Amzer case and the TB in the Pop case.

It's not the best comparison, but you get the idea. And the raise you can see on the Pop case as far as sticking up from the screen is good for when you lay your phone screen down for speaker phone.

this is kinda OT but when do you think the otterbox cases will come out.. Im torn between waiting and getting this

last time I spoke to someone from there they told me they do have something in the works for the thunderbolt but did not have any kind of timeline for a release.... I know it was damn near two months after the droid X release day before they had one for the droid X
It seems like with otterbox that anything that starts with an "i" gets top priority, then they work on the other stuff

Thank you for the pic! I'm a bit surprised that it seems to add a little to the length of the phone too, but that makes sense. I'm very happy to hear that you are as pleased as you are with it. I'm a "waffler" and after reading your opinions, I thought I should just dive in and do it. I already received an email that it has shipped and I only placed the order last night at around midnight. I got the case in black, but I'm tempted to get it in white also. My original intention was to go w/ the Seidio Active X (which is 2 separate pcs, the rubber inner and the plastic outer), but I saw enuff people mention the looseness of the rubber around the edges where the plastic doesn't cover that I ended up going w/ the Pop!

I loved Case Mate case, except for one issue. I hate how hard it is to press the power button. Does it loosen up over time?


I switched back to the case I got back from Verizon. It a soft silicone internal shell with a hard plastic outer shell. Fits well and the silicone is soft enough to press the pwer button smoothly and easily, without it being a problem in my pocket.

Yes, thanks. The code worked like a charm. I'm a fan of any kind of money off. I too was about to get the Active X, as I have one for my Incredible, but so many people seem to like this case and if I am going to be taking the case off to plop in a new battery every so often, it will be nice to only have to take off one piece not two.

Funny enough, I also ordered Seidio's external charger and extra battery and someone offered up a code that ended in the number 10 which equated to 10% off. So, for giggles, I replaced the ten with a 20, 30 and so on and the 20 was the only one that took. Sure, I know "cool story, bro" but I couldn't help but be pleased that this worked. However, I tried the same with the Pop and it was a no go. Worth a try though.

FYI...I'm not sure you have to spring for the 2-4 day shipping (like I did). I just got notice that it shipped (about an hour after I ordered it). Had I known it was gonna ship the same day I woulda used the Free Shipping vs. paying $6 for 2-4 day.

1. does the rubber part make it hard to put and pull out the phone from your pocket? my lat phone had rubber on it the part that wraps over the front of the phone and i always had a hard time putting it and taking it out of my pocket.

2. does it add alot of bulk to the phone. phone is already bulky enough imo doesnt need anymore.

I pocket mine and don't have any issues. It comes out easier than it did with my innocase one. Its not that bulky. I hate cases but I keep this one on all the time.

I have the TPU case from Verizon and I love it. It protects the phone well and for a change will not peel up a screen protector.

Yeah. I think I ordered mine like Saturday night. It shipped out Monday and I got it on Wednesday. Not bad for free.

The bolt feels solid without a case... definitely like it the way it is. Almost jumped on the pop! but i push the power button all the time to unlock - don't you guys? If case-mate came out with a barely there case, that doesn't cover the top, I'd jump.

How hard is it to push the power button?? Honestly, how sticky is it on a scale of 1 - 20.... 20 being really hard to push the power button. I think about one-clicking this case everyday, and that's the only thing stopping me.

I've been watching the tracking information on my case all day. I can't wait for it to come. Ordered it in the middle of the night on Thursday and it is in my town, now I need them to pull through and deliver it today! Thanks again for all of the help. With my external charger and extra battery also on the way, I think my battery/protection saga will be complete.

I got my case yesterday, it looks great but is a bit too bulky for me. When the phone is naked, it feels comfortable in my pocket and I barely noticed it. With the case, I always notice it. I may give the case a few more days to see if I get used to it, but I think I'm going to send mine back.

You mention the phone naked and I agree, it is so damn sexy with no case on it, but having a child who loves to play games on my phone, I just know going without a case isn't a good idea. So, if I'm currently using a duel case by Verizon (first a soft rubber case that is covered by a hard plastic case) do you think this POP case will be not much bulkier? Again, I only ask because there is a huge difference between naked and having a case on it. Thanks.

With this phone, I think any of the current cases would be an issue for me. A barely there case would probably be the best thing for me, personally.

Hey, finally got it along with my external charger and Seidio battery...two separate shipments, obviously but same day which is a nice treat. I have to say I LOVE the case. This thing feels incredibly sturdy and so well built. When using the Verizon two piece I couldn't stand how flimsy the rubber piece was and how it didn't always follow the lines of the phone because it was so bendable. This case is like a suction cup and feels like an extension of the phone. I am impressed, wow. I will have no problems handing my phone over to my 4 year old so she can play her games. Thank you all who led me in the right direction.
