dont know if anyone else was looking for a belt holster for their case like i was, well i found one. i got a case off ebay that i love and i got the standard verizon holster and belt clip, the waffle textured one. well guess what they work great together! it fits in there like it was made for it.too bad they dont sell just the holster without the case yet.

Which Verizo holster are you referring to? The standard verizon holster does not have a waffle texture? The only one that does, already comes with a case. Verizon does sell a plain holster without a case, but it is a different holster design with no room for any case that I have found.

The best combination I have found so far is the Platinum Case/Holster sold by Best Buy, but made by Seidio. The case even fits the DroidX with an extended battery/door in place. The only problem is the price of $34. Even if you could find a cheap case to fit the Verizon OEM holster, you are paying $16 for that plus another $8 for a case. While $24 is less than $34, I am not sure the quality of the cases you get off of Ebay, are as good as the cases made by Seidio for Best Buy.
