Thanks for the list. I think I am going to find a cheap TPU until the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle is released. As far as I am concerned, the best TPU case ever made... used on all my Note phones and my current HTC One M8.

Too bad cases are slim pickings at this time. Looks like I have a couple weeks to wait for the phone anyway.

I don't think many of the major case makers will be onboard with this phone seeing as it isn't sold by carriers...

You may be correct, but it would be their loss. This phone is growing in popularity everyday and now that carriers are getting rid of subsidies, the less expensive phone market is very appealing.

I know a few Note users that won't buy again without a removable SD card. I am more excited about the absence of bloatware than anything else. The camera looks cool and the concert photos someone shared were amazing for a phone in darkness. I am still crossing my fingers on better cases.

Manual says it comes with a bumper case, I wonder if this includes phones shipped to the US?

Supcase, not the Heavy Duty one, but the regular case. Used it on my last 4 phones. By far the best TPU out their. Simple, durable, does not scuff, get dirty and it looks good on a phone. Mine is pre-ordered.

I wish some of top case makers produced cases for this phone. Currently the only good/name brand case is Otter and Incipio. Neither look that good, too bulky.

I wish Spigen or Caseology made a case for this. Unfortunately, both of these companies stated that neither of them have plans currently to carry a case for this phone. Sigh...

A lot (if not all) of the images on Amazon are artists' illustrations of the cases, which are typically optimistic in their renderings. Looks like most are still being manufactured. It would be interesting to find out just how good (or bad) these cases are once they've been actually produced and used by Pure owners. I like minimal cases, so out of all that Amazon offers, I find the i-Blason and Cimo cases to be the most attractive. I've never used the i-Blason brand before but my experience with Cimo has been mostly positive. The Cimo cases I've used in the past have been inexpensively made, but have fit well and provided sufficient protection for me (I'm pretty easy on phones). The Supcase is interesting though but I suspect may add too much bulk. Only time will tell...

Like Tek above, Spigen has been my go-to brand for the last 2-3 years, too bad they've decided to sit on the sidelines and not support the Pure.

Just wanted to chime in. Also a fan of Spigen cases and their screen protectors and was disappointed to find they weren't going to be making anything for the Pure. They have a clear case with tpu corners I think would have been perfect to show off the wood back on the X and still offer some protection. The I-Blason case comes in clear so I'm considering that. Hope it's actually clear and not frosted. I've had that happen with a "clear" case before. On some other forums people have gotten I-Blason cases and seem to have generally been satisfied. Guess we'll see...

i know you certainly cannot force a case manufacturer to produce a certain case. However, is there sort of a request that we can do for this process? Sounds like most of the MXPE users, that are interested in a case, would like a case from Spigen.

Well, our two portfolio cases that I ordered from Amazon from a seller (which I've been waiting on to set up the phone) have apparently been lost in transit by DHL. So the process starts all over again with similar portfolio cases that I found on eBay. In China. It'll be two weeks at least before they get here. Sooooo it looks like that little clear bumper that came with the Moto X Pure will get some use after all as a stop-gap measure until they show up. And I'll wake up at 2:30 - 3 AM - as usual - and start setting up the Moto X Pure.

I bought IQShield tempered glass screen protectors for our new phones, and am so unimpressed at their lack of adhesion in the corners that I demanded, and got, a refund. So that's a bust too! I sure hope the phone at least works...

Well I ordered a Cimo case and Supershieldz screen protectors from Amazon. The screen protector should be here by the end of next week, and the case, a week or so after that. Itching to buy the Incipio Feather, I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger, at least not yet... we'll see.
