Accessories Cases for Moto X Pure/Style

I haven't dropped my phone yet so I can't speak from experience about the impact protection provided by the Case-Mate Naked Tough Case - Clear. However, the dual layers should offer more protection than the bumper case that came with the phone (I also have a tempered glass screen protector). It's a good looking case with metallic chrome buttons and clear plastic that protects the back of the phone . I carry my phone in my front pants pocket and the case slides in and out easily. So far, all likes and no dislikes.

How much bulkiness does it add? Does it add any grippiness to it? If I put my phone down on the car seat next to me, it slides around and sometimes ends up on the floor.

The case adds very little bulk to the phone but I'm afraid the plastic back won't keep the phone from sliding on the car seat.

I'd love to buy one but they keep saying "Coming Soon" on the Case Mate site. I'm buying the Supcase and then I'll buy the Case Mate when available.

Either Motorola is selling a lot of MXPEs or CaseMate isn't making many cases for the phone because they've been out of stock several times.

ive had bad luck with clear cases, and i love my ashwood back and dont want to cover the phone so i have been rocking the plastic bumper that came with the phone.

I started with the bumper that came with the phone. However, I was concerned that it didn't offer enough protection if I dropped the phone and it didn't protect the back at all. I bought several cheap cases and got what I paid for. I finally decided to get a good case and I bought the Case-Mate Naked Tough Case - Clear. It's a dual layered bumper so it offers more protection than the bumper that comes with the phone and it protects the back with a clear plastic so that people will still be able to see your ashwood back. I highly recommend the case although, unfortunately, it is out of stock right now.

I had one of those on my Moto X 2. It offered very good protection. Right now I am just using the bumper case that came with the phone. If I was going on vacation or somewhere I would be taking the phone in and out of my pocket often I would likely buy one for the Moto XPE.

I originally bought this for my S5 Active but Moto fits even with bumper case.

I ended up with the CaseMate bumper in black/grey and a Supcase Unicorn Beetle. Used the Supcase at first and I like it but decided to use the CaseMate for now. I like the way the phone feels in hand so I want to cover it as minimally as possible. My phone has the basic back in graphite so no big issue with protecting that.

It looks like Case Mate may have quit making the Clear Naked Tough Case. It's no longer even on there site. Bummer. I was really wanting one.

I got the tough case yesterday. I really like it. It doesn't add much bulk to the phone at all and feels very nice.

I don't think it will help much with it not sliding around in the seat next to me, but very happy otherwise.
