Accessories Cases

My case just arrived, fits good and looks fine. I freaked because it was a brighter red in the package than I wanted but since it's translucent the black housing on the Inspire makes it look darker. Doesn't add much bulk either. Very happy!

Do you get a bunch of lint from your pocket stuck on the case though?

I like the rubber cases, but am trying to find one that isn't a hassle to take in and out of my pocket, and one that doesn't collect a bunch of lint by doing so.

just adding that I also got the Best Buy case and I also think its a Seidio Innocase 2. Very nice case and the price is quite compelling for what you get. Quality fit and feel, nice holster.

Usually the phone is in my work bag or my purse so I can't speak to that but the surface isn't sticky at all so I don't think it would be a problem?

Just got myself the Case Mate Pop! case, and i like it a lot so far.
it added a little more bulk than i thought it would but it isn't even that much anyway.
it's a very well built case and a very good fit for my inspire.
:)

I have the best buy platinum case (seido re-branded for best buy). Anyway, just wanted to share I am very happy with this case. I dropped my phone the other day for the first time (I pee'd a little when I dropped it) on my cement driveway from my ear, I'm about 6ft so from about 5.6 feet. The phone hit pretty hard and I was thinking the worst. However, there was only a tiny scuff on the top right of the case and everything else is still perfect. You can't even see the mark on the case unless you really look for it. So I love this case. Just thought I would post my durability story.

Im looking for a case (x2) when closed and in your (my Mrs purse or in my lunch box) - doesnt hit the power button.. turning on the unit without our knowing, - so when we go to use the phone, the power is out...discharged - Nada.. !?!?.
- Thats a real Pain in the Ass... when you need your cell phone-but its not powered up..!!
WTF is that all about...?!?!?
Getting close to tossing this 'smart phone' ..........!!

This case came in Thursday, and fits perfectly. It adds very little bulk to the phone, and isn't "sticky" in your pocket like silicone cases are. I really like it.

I just bought that TPU case as well.. $8 shipped, I figured it was a no brainer.

Can't wait to get it.

Hi,
I'm new to Android and the Inspire 4G. The Case-Mate Pop looks like the case I want...but can you (or anyone) tell me if it's thick enough to do a good job of protecting the camera lens?
Thanks.

Hi I have ghost armor on front and back of my new inspire. I have been looking at eBay for a cheap rubber or silicone case. On eBay they have thousands on these cases has anyone had any luck.... if so could you please leave a link.... I keep phone in my pocket so I don't want to buy the wrong case... Thanks....

I went in to Best Buy and bought the Platinum/Seido case. I'm very impressed with it. First of all, I like that the back of my phone is all even now. Having the bump where the camera is was strange feeling. Also, it seals very well and isn't too slick, or too sticky. So it's fine whether I place it in the clip holder or in my pocket. Of course I have a shield on the front of the phone to also help eliminate those dust bunnies from my pocket that might try to sneak past the seams. All in all, it's a very versatile and useful case.

I like minimalist covers. I ordered the TPU Rubber Skin Case for HTC Desire HD, Clear Frost Smoke Circle from eforcity.

I got this case in the mail yesterday, so far, I love it.

I have a seido innocase surface, and I like the case, but find it very hard to press the power button due to the design of the case.

this is my 4th case I've bought, can't find one I really like.

Speck candyshell
Casemate barely there
Casemate pop.

yeah it does protect the camera lens
it's a bit raised from the lens so when you lay it down on the back the camera doesn't touch the surface you're putting the phone on.

Thanks, dylando808. After a couple of days my wife went ahead and ordered a Case-Mate Pop in Pink. I agree it does keep the lens from touching the surface you lay it on....just barely. That's important to us and so many of the gels, silicones, TPU's, cheapies and others don't. I have the Speck and it's about the same thickness as the Pop, so it's also adequate. But perhaps the little Case-Mate logo that protrudes a little on the back bottom right helps in some way too. By the way, she really likes the pink color even though she would have preferred hot pink.
Cheers.
P.S. If anyone wants to order the Pop and it's not available in the color you want, remember to check inventory for the Desire HD....it's essentially the same phone and accessories are interchangeable :)

Yeah I was stuck between the candyshell and the Pop. But decided on the Pop because I liked the design better. Although I would've preferred it in black (I got the white one). The black one became available a few days after I got my white one. :p

Does anyone know, where to find the Otterbox Defender? Is it just a hot selller, or has it not been released yet? Thanks for any help!
