So I've had spigen slim armour on my S4 and note 3, I know right now it's early days but let's talk cases, im thinking maybe something different this time around. What are you guys looking at so far?

I have been using Seidio Surface cases and holsters for all of my phones, they're very slim and sleek, yet provide quite good protection.

I'll be very interested in seeing what they come up with for the S5.

I think there will be some challenges with the S5 cases, due to the charging slot cover they added. There needs to be access to it, room to swing it open, etc.

Water resistance is good, that charging door ? Not so much , both for cases and for any potential docks one might want to use ...

+1 for Seidio! I've used them for the last two smart phones I've owned and they have been great. Great protection without the super bulk of an Otterbox.

Found some cases around.

On Amazon I found, i-Blason.
They are very cheap in price and have some nice designs.

On Amazon I found as well, Rearth? Ringke? for the S5.
I think would be my first choice though.
-Fairly cheap
-Good amount of variety
-Reviews or their products to seem to up hold to high standard.
They got a fusion case that im learning towards

I ended up going with this Spigen for my S5. I'm glad I waited an extra days as the price has dropped from $26.99 to $14.99.

I'll probably go with the i-Blason as well if I don't just decide to carry it around naked (and boy let me tell you that's hard with no pockets). This is the first Samsung phone I honestly feel safe about not having a case. I'm still getting a Ghost Armor screen protector for shatter protection though.

You can look at the companies past cases as they are highly rated. This one here comes in multiple colors. I would order the case now as they will increase the price upon release of the S5.

That does look nice indeed. I'm not sure about the metal buttons on the sides of the case though. Are those pretty effective? Have you used one of these brands of cases before?

After seeing that one, I really like this one too and it is only $3.00 more.

I like those Spigen cases too. Thinking about the Tough Armor and the Slim Armor ones. I heard the Neo Hybrid case makes the power button really touchy, in other words it gets accidentally pressed often. That is with S4 though, maybe it will be okay with the S5.

got one of the speck candyshell cases for the s5 :] hopefully a lot of cases will be released for this phone they made a lot more for the s4 than the s3

I will get the Mophie battery case, when they release them. Unfortunately they aren't listed on their home page yet.

I have one for my iPhone and it is fantastic. Very minimal in size and I can bring my battery from dead to 100% while out and about.
