Can someone explain why it took 31 days to report Caylee missing? I have an understanding that the grandmother Cindy was the one reporting the child missing, also I can understand how Casey would go clubbing/drinking IF she had reported her child missing to the police to help get her mind off things....but to not report anything and go about as if nothing had changed, wtf? Also was the father siding with his daughter? Didn't he basically lie as well? I know that he said he found the child in the swimming pool, but didn't he also change his story?

I am also surprised that the autopsy couldn't determine the cause of death. I know a lot of people are comparing this case to OJ's case, but how the hell is it not super suspicious with all these lies? I know you need hard concrete evidence, but I know the jury doesn't even have any truth behind this whole case the way the prosecution and defendants are spinning everything. I have a feeling that this case isn't technically over even though she was found not guilty

I posted this in the other thread so ill just paste it hear...

I think the jury did there jobs, they based there decision on the evidence and not the emotions of the case. I was not surprised by the verdict because I have even said that if I was on the jury, and I knew nothing of this case, I would have a hard time convicting her of Murder 1 or manslaughter based on the lack of evidence and the he said she said...

If she really killed her kid then she got away with it, and she has to live with it. If she honestly didnt do it, then the justice system worked for her, but we will never know the truth and that is something the public does not deal well with. people are going to hate her because of their own opinions, but honestly no one was there, we dont know what really happened. they are judging her based on the fact that she lied so many times... which i know does not make her look innocent...

I do think that if the state did not try to go for all the beans with a murder 1 conviction, and just strictly stayed with a manslaughter charge they might have been able to get a conviction. but because the murder 1 came with a possibility of the death penalty, some of the jurors said that if they were to convict someone to death, they better know with out a doubt that that person did what they were accused of, with physical evidence, and they just did not have that here....

I personally still think the entire family was in on it and had something to do with it... it sucks that this little girl has been killed but with out evidence linking it one way or the other its never going to be solved...

I was thinking about what if they did convict her, killed her and she still claimed her innocence all the way up until her death... and everyone hated her, thought she did it, then someone finally comes forward, with a confession and some sort of physical evidence proving he or she killed that little girl and the state killed her mother for no reason... how bad do you think the jurors would feel then? what would everyone say that swore up and down that she did it only to find out that they let their emotions make opinions on her...

its funny how people forget the whole "Innocent until proven Guilty" they get it stuck in there heads that its "Guilty until proven Innocent" and then when the person is in fact found Not Guilty, they b!tch and complain about it. Just imagine all the people who have been wrongfully convicted that no one believes.

People need to realize that when public opinion convicts you or if they think you killed someone and there is no proof, just a bunch of foolish folks screaming for your head, you might have a different view of the system.

If they fry you, what do they think then? Likely not much until it happens to them or a loved one. Then suddenly, the system is flawed.

Seems the system worked well.

Yes, it's over. She can no longer be tried again for the same crime. The only thing that can happen is that she is sued for wrongful death. That would make it like the OJ case.

And super suspicious = probable cause to arrest. She was arrested and tried, so the suspicion was acted upon. Beyond a reasonable doubt is a lot higher than super suspicious.

So the entire Anthony family are getting death threats. God forbid they do any harm to the Anthony's, I think they suffered enough. Three things are not going to happen if they harm Casey or any of the other family members: 1. They won't get a medal of honor, 2. They won't get the not guilty verdict, 3. it won't bring Caylee back.

Fox news are blaming Nancy Grace for arousing the anger and hatred of the people. For once, I agree with Fox News.

I must say that if I was on that case, I would've probably voted 'not guilty' as well. If you're going to sentence someone to death, which would've been a very possible sentence, you better have undeniable proof that the person is guilty of murder. That one juror who did the interview explained her situation well. It's not like they were unintelligent people who wanted Casey Anthony free... but simply people who MUST NOT be overcome with the emotions of the case and simply go over the evidence and determine if there's unquestionable proof that the baby was murdered by her hands. I remember several jurors sobbed at the fact that they were letting someone go who they personally believed to be guilty. This is just one of those situations where life isn't fair and where the justice was blind. I applaud those jurors who didn't let their emotions get the better of them in this case and focused on what was presented to them.

Nancy Grace is a joke. Simple as that.

Sorry but when you try to cover something up. It's usually because you did something wrong. If she did drown in the pool and was an accident. Then what was going on at that house that thwy wouldnt want rescue and police out there? I feel there is something more to this and sadly we will never know. Anyways the way she is getting death threats. She won't live to long after she is cut loose. This is one person who will constant protection for a long time.

Let us hope nobody is foolish enough to take Casey Anthony out over this! If they do and get caught they'll likely find themselves on the receiving end of a capital murder charge with the potential for the death penalty themselves.

With all of the negative publicity already surrounding this case the suspect would have a really tough time finding a totally unbiased jury. And worse still as there is currently a legal argument brewing over the death penalty in Florida, the suspect, if convicted of capital murder, would likely spend years sitting in death row waiting to find out what will happen to them...

If Casey Anthony actually did the deed then I suspect she has something in common with... cough, cough, OJ.

While I understand what you are saying, her actions stated a completely different thing. As a parent, I couldn't imagine the death of my daughter prematurely. However, I do know that I would not be going out clubbing and acting recklessly if she had gone missing. It doesn't surprise me that she was found not guilty. There wasn't enough evidence to lock her up, much less kill her.

As you stated, there is a lot the family is not saying and they most definitely know more about the incident than they let on.

The thing is, in the eyes of the law, none of that matters. You have every right to go clubbing after your daughter has been killed and so long as you had no part in it, you have not committed a crime.

I followed this case closely, and I think there was more to Casey's negligence that we don't know. The point is WE DON'T KNOW and a person is innocent until proven guilty in our court of law.

Or... they won't ever get caught. Plenty of murders go unsolved and frankly if she was to be murdered EVERYONE strongly against the ruling would be considered a suspect.

Or you are perceiving yourself as doing something wrong. Maybe her kid went missing/died and she was relieved to be free of her kid's burden. That makes her a terrible person, but not a murderer.
