Newbie
I've searched youtube and google but I couldn't find tutorial or anything on how to replace the screen. I know the video is not perfect but please have in mind that this is my first "tutorial" and it's just to give you an idea and what to expect if you decide to replace the screen. I hope it will be helpfull to someone.Casio C811 GzOne Commando 4G LTE Digitizer/LCD replacement - YouTube
EDIT:
-The digitizer and the LCD are glued together so it's best to buy as assembly. I bought them from ebay but later I realized that there are different types. To find out the type of your LCD you need to disassemble your phone and on the back of the LCD it's printed what type it is. I attached two photos to make it more clear. (the photos are two posts down)
- With right adhesive I'm sure it will be water resistant again but the way it is built I think even without the right adhesive it can survive rain, splash of water or similar water exposure.
DISCLAIMER:
- I'm not profesional repair guy
- I don't know the names of the screwdrivers in my language and even less in English ( I have a set of screwdrivrs so whatever fits the screw I use it)
- MOST IMPORTANT: I only share my experience of fixing my broken Casio. If you use my video to fix yours and something goes wrong it is not my responsibility!!!

Balls of steel Meskalin. Some questions:

-So did you source a new LCD?
-From Where? How much?
-Were you able to reseal everything and maintain water resistance?

What did you do to break the screen in the first place?

Sorry I forgot to mention about the LCD.

- I haven't resealed it yet but I will not test it for water resistant. - I bought it with broken screen it was working great and was water resistant I tested it :)

So I'm trying to replace my LCD screen right now and your video was hugely helpful. I did not however read this thread before starting/purchasing and I bought just the outer screen, not the digitizer assembly. Is it a huge pain in the ass to separate/re-attach them?? Also, just a tip, a tools necessary list at the beginning of the video would be useful. I didn't know that I would need a micro-phillips head screw driver until I started the dissasembly and only had a flat head.
