CAT S60 Stuck on Splash Screen

So, when you turn it on, and the screen is white with the CAT logo?
Yeah, my phone has been on that screen for about 3 hours now...
If I plug it in, the led won't light up.

Ok, so, about 3 hours ago, I grabbed my phone and woke it up.
No response. I pushed power for 10 seconds, nothing.
I did it again. Nothing happened.
So I did the reset button on the back, nothing.
Reset button, PLUS power button, nothing.
Reset, Power, and Vol. Up- screen powers on, stuck on white screen.

What to do?

your phone came out in 2016. phones tend to have a life span of about 3-4 years, mainly do to the battery. battery life and charging capabilities will decrease over that time. also it is not uncommon to start seeing glitches and bugs happen over that span as well. this looks like you might have a corruption partition within your phone's internal memory.

hopefully it is not a damaged partition. so lets try a hard reset first:

if that does not work then you can try flashing a firmware update. i do not have your phone, but i found this:

Battery changed 2 months ago.-, and I've done everything I could from the hardreset page.
But if I can't power it down, how can I do anything to reset it?
 
is the battery removeable? if so just remove it and wait 30 sec and put it back in and then do the hard reset. if not then i have no idea other then to drain the battery down, charge it, then try the hard reset.
 
So, it got me a powered down phone.
That IS charging.
Won't turn on though.

Ok, so when I plug it in the computer, it will buzz, white splash screen, then black screen with battery charging gif.
And still won't turn on!
 
Yikes!!!!

That sucks. From the sound of it, it was not removable. I would not have touched the battery unless I can remove it easily.

Check ifixit.com they have replacement parts for phones..... just not sure if they have anything for your phone,.... but worth a look.
 
I've changed the battery before, so I knew what to do, but just had a twitch at the wrong time, and rriipp!
I ordered a new battery straight away, but it will take a few days.
My new phone should arrive today or tomorrow. S61!
 
*****UPDATE*****
So, batteries arrived today. Installed, charged, phone still won't work.
As in, plug in, it gives the splash screen (NO 'cat s60'),
then goes black with the charging battery gif.
I managed to get it awake by pressing POWER + VOL + & -.
What I get is this:

These are my options, but I can't select anything. The LOCKED at the bottom looks a bit ominous.....
 
Also, I've installed everything recommended, to no avail.
Computer doesn't even SEE the phone now!
The phone will NOT power down! AGAIN!
It is stuck on this Bootloader screen, and only the up\ down function works....

Ok, Ran the Flash File.
Now NOTHING happens!
Well, when I plug it into the computer, the computer makes a noise, but no new drive opens.
The phone LED will blink red when plugged in, but other than that, I've no clue....
I have downloaded everything recommended, followed all instructions, and now nothing....
 
Ok, well, since the problem didn't go away (like the help here did!), I've done my own thing (like usual).
It came down to the POWER switch being buggy. So, I swapped it out!
