^^^ Your wife must have a post somewhere on a forum or social media...

"While I have to share my bed with three cats and a husband, all of whom I adore, I also have to put up with the husband taking flash pictures at 3 in the morning. Good grief." :D :D

My wife (bless her heart) sleeps like the dead. It takes a thunderstorm directly over our house with the thunder that shakes the very foundation upon which it sits to rouse her from her sleep. (That or the outside chance of a locomotive actually blasting through the house) I am endlessly jealous of this ability since I am the polar opposite. So the flash .... is the least of her worries. ;)

Today was the first time out for our cats. They took their time and stayed away for eight hours. Leaving me nervous [emoji54]
We really had to catch them at the end of the day. Huge cat-human fight. Humans won [emoji1]

The stray cat that's taken up residency in my shed had kittens. She's been around the place since cold weather set in last year. I've yet to get within five feet of her. She is not violent but completely wild. It will be interesting to see if the kittens will have anything to do with the food and water we keep laid out for the mom on the patio. She ignores the bribe completely.

Update: The kittens are not new born. She brought them out for the food and water. They seem to be ok with it... she keeps her distance but lets them indulge. Odd... Cats are weird. Maybe she prefers canned food. o_O

Meezy tried that. I had to get as small a collar as I could as she was dragging the larger one through the wet food dish and what she left in the cat pan. Then she'd get up on the bed and head butt me for attention.

She eventually got wise to the fact that my fingers slip in the collar. Now she starts pestering for every head itch she can't get to.
I have to scratch.

When you're visiting a drive-thru wildlife park, it's a good idea to stay in the car.

Isn't it?

At least they didn't shoot the tigers because of human stupidity. And some people do leave their brains at home in China as well....or trying their best not to pollute the human gene pool....China does have too many people.

BTW here's something I posted a few weeks ago during my visit to Jinan Zoo.

I think there's a tiger in that enclosure, you silly woman.

...actually there wasn't, it was deer.

The youngsters are cranky. Maisie went screaming around the whole house, and looks at us accusingly. Misery, damnation, hell! Why?
1. It was raining again today and that means getting your feet wet. With weet get, one can only run in a wonderful, trippy way.
2. They were forced to get smelly droplets in their neck (for fleas and ticks).
And 3. It is Family Night. That means staying inside because those folks want to see you and do that cuddling and hugging. Their freedom is limited! They can not go outside! Mister rests in his faith, that the cat flap will not open, after six trips to the cat flap.
Yes no, so cozy. Like two beaten dogs on the window sill. Peeking at the freedom.
