Root **CAUTION**Read before rooting**

i will now request this thread to be un stickied. The recovery process still isn't as easy as some phones (dx) but at least there is one. I hope i helped save at least a couple of bricks with this thread.
 
Mind if we leave it up for a little while longer until we have local confirmation that this method is working reasonably close to 100% of the time? After all, if there is a potential for it to fail, then this warning still applies, eh?
