Root *** CAUTION with the UPDATE ***

If you are rooted & have installed the custom recovery or did any of the other work for the incoming call reject fix you may want to hold off on taking the update. I have a partial brick, I don't know if I'm going to be able to fix it. If someone could post the APK for flashify so I can try to sideload it. If I can put the CMW recovery back on it I may be able to restore my backup and at least use the phone. Right now I can't.
 
Any update done the way Android is (piece-by-piece live) is subject to unrepairable corruption. The first thing I do to an Android phone is disable automatic updates. (Forth, arise from the dead, so we can update one not-in-use page at a time.)
 
I was rooted, installed the updated and lost root but everything I had frozen is still frozen. It seems a little faster and more responsive. My apps aren't crashing as often(not that that happened often). I've only been using it a couple hours in all fairness.
 
trx125, had you.replaced the recovery? I flashed the recovery that was posted in ATR section. I knew the update would fail with that recovery so I flashed the stock recovery and let it run. It won't boot past the white logo sceen unless I reboot into recovery with ADB. This wipes the phone but it will boot. As long as I don't let the phone go to sleep or let it complete the setup wizard it will work. I can sign in to google and I can dl apps from the market. Interesting semi brick

adb push [path to Doctoror's cwm zip file recovery.img on your PC] \sdcard\recovery.img

adb shell
su
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p19

Doing this from adb will flash your device with cwm recovery. Then adb reboot recovery and you'll be able to restore any nandroid backup. Even the first time try just to wipe cache/dalvik cache from cwm and then let it reboot to system. If it does not complete boot maybe you need to restore a nandroid. You could use doctoror's one.

As always I'm doing my best or as I would do if I was in your place but I'm not responsible for any damage and/or brick.
 
I can't get it to boot into recovery with the buttons and I can't control it with adb. I'm thinking its time to make a call.
 
well ****, I am stupid... Volume up, not down. Rebooted into the basic stock recovery. Did a wipe. Phone fixed. Thanks everyone for their help.


OR NOT...
