Root [CDMA] All roms causing my phone to reset except clean 2.9.5

Not sure what the issue is but I been trying all these different ROMS. MikRunny-3vo-CDMA-v1.06, viperROM_Redline_v2.5_RC2, Xplod_XE_E3D_2.2.1,OTXE+Titan+HD+ODEXed+New+Beats, even Clean Rom 3.0 and a few others.

The only ROM that works for me with no resets is Clean 2.9.5.

I was wondering if maybe there is an update on most of these new roms that I dont have? I like Xplod but after right after I started loading all my apps from TB & everything up. A few hrs goes by then the resets. Mik Runny CDMA v1.06 was oustanding. battery was excellent. Loaded everything up. Same thing. resets after times passes by. All of these other ROMS did the same thing.

I'm aware of the new radio's and such but been avoiding updating if I dont need to (and because of people having issues), although I do want to try Mean Rom.

Any clue as to what I might be missing or causing all these roms to reset? Any help would be appreciated!

I noticed when I try to download things in the market on Clean ROM 2.9.5, I get a "Your device isnt compatible with this device". Although it is. (QIK works on other roms). Would this be a reason???

These are the apps I have and add everytime I flash a ROM

Audio Manager
Netflix
Hulu
AK Note Pad
Ringer Toggle Widget
Roam Control
Handcent
Google Voice (older version 0.4.2.32 since new version doesnt allow option to Toggle on every call...least last time I checked on Evo 4G when I had that phone. although I didnt add on last flash)
Boot Control
Auto Rotate Switch 1.7
Astro
Wifi Tether 3.1
System Panel
Swift Key (older version since it has arrows)
Skyfire
Opera
SD Card Storage Optimzer
Movies
Ebuddy
Brightness Level 2.2.0
Cache Mate for Root users
Battery Indicator 4.0.4
App Brain
Titanium Back Up (full version)

The kernel you use is more likely the culprit. Which kernels are you using?

I dont flash kernels much so I been usually just stick with the kernel in the roms. However I forgot to mention I'm on TWRP 2.0. I seen people were having issues with this but I hadnt had any. However prior to me using TWRP 2.0 I had been using TWRP 1.1. I recently just changed my recovery to clockwork and downloaded Superwipe for EVo 3D and see if the recovery was the culprit..I'm getting desperate.

Does Superwipe erase the recovery image too?

Why use recovery to flash your kernel at all?

Works for all HBOOT versions. I'd also recommend the Anthrax kernel, if you can find a link to it. Looks like Chad Goodman has taken it offline for the time being. Also looks like XDA deleted his thread. <sigh>

Another good kernel is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1264224

Another good kernel is [Kernel][AOSP & Sense] Tiamat 1.1.0 | 2.6.35.14 | 10/12/11 - xda-developers

I was basically saying I changed the recovery thinking maybe its not flashing my roms correctly since people have said to have trouble with TWRP 2.0. I'm not really into flashing kernels since I usually trust the developers kernel included is decent..However I'll give the Anthrax a shot. However the link you provided did not work. Invalid..Can you state the specific Anthrax you've had luck with..I tried Anthrax X 2.6.38.6-Rev_013 and my phone reset right after I tried to download the voicemail update. I also downloaded Anthrax 011611-RLS2

Ah, I see about the recovery. I heard a long time ago that CWM doesn't flash EXT4 mods correctly on the Evo 3D. While very few ROMs use these tweaks, if you flash a ROM that does have them, you'll have problems. I'd recommend TWRP 1.1 seeing how you already have a copy of it. It really is the best overall recovery (at this point, until Agraben makes his personalized version of TWRP or CWM touch is improved).

And yeah, I just found out that the link is dead. I guess XDA and Chad Goodman had a complete falling out, and you must have quoted my post sometime before I edited it.

But that's odd. AnthraX Rev 13 is what I'm using. I'm completely stable on CleanROM 2.0 DE. Rev 9 is a favorite of many people. Also there is the Tiamat kernel. I used to use that kernel religiously before I found Anthrax. Because Tiamat was stable where other kernels, like bcblend and rcmix, were unstable for me.

I ended up going back to TWRP 2.0 since MikRunny-3vo-CDMA-v1.06 started resetting once I reloaded all my apps and so on. The funny thing is I have the TWRP 2.0 zip but none of the zips I have are for TWRP 1.1. seem to update to Recovery from Bootloadeder. I wonder if its no longer valid anymore since they have the more recent Touch Screen 2.0. I might try my luck on that Clean ROM 2.0 DE...after I find a working TWRP 1.1 Recovery
