Root [CDMA] Aosp roms

Just wondering if anyone knows why we can't flash AOSP roms on the Evo V? I haven't tried it myself but people were reporting that it bootloops.

This has been a problem on the Sprint branded phone as well.
It SEEMS to be an Hboot s-on issue.
Most people who go s-off and revert to a 1.4 Hboot have been fine.

Ahh. I'm s-off but I'm afraid I'll mess something up if I revert back hboots

Go ahead and Try an AOSP Rom - Just Make a Nandroid first.
IF you booty loop - Just restore and you are back in Biz.
