Root [CDMA] Errors when flashing roms on htc evo 3d

So i wanted to flash the MikVirgin ICS (which thank god i did not since im on a gsm phone and not a cdma like the current version allows) on my rooted Htc Evo 3D hboot 1.49 software version 1.20.631.3 and keep getting an error when trying to flash it (status 1 error ) and some other status errors.

Do you have any idea why is this? Suggestions?

I know there is a more recent version of the software for the Evo 3D but i cannot get it no matter how many times i try from the software update option on the phone, the phone is rooted and unlocked from Rogers, maybe this is why its blocking the update.

Also the market had the old version and would not update unless i installed the apk from the internet, so any ideas on how to update the software of the evo?

That is your reason, it has most likely been disable because of root, and if it allowed you to update you would most likely get unrooted, I am sure there are updated versions of you updated ROM, and you could simply flash it to update it, but I will assume you did not root your yourself or you would not be asking this question ??

That is your reason, it has most likely been disable because of root, and if it allowed you to update you would most likely get unrooted, I am sure there are updated versions of you updated ROM, and you could simply flash it to update it, but I will assume you did not root your yourself or you would not be asking this question ??

thanks, let me try flashing it, yes i did that myself, but i kept getting status errors when flashing using clockworkmod

do you know why that happens? i rooted with revolutionary
still on hboot 1.49

Just be careful be you start flashing, make sure you create a Nandroid back up for safe keeping, and then you can play, but I would ask questions in that thread I gave you before you go forward and get trigger happy and mess your phone up and Brick it. epsi:
