Root [CDMA] evo 3d does not power on.

So heres the deal, I have an EVO 3D that I got around the end of last yeari Rooted it about two days after getting it, been running clean rom since, over the last month the phone has been getting very "buggy" keyboard doesnt work here, screen freeze there etc.. So yesterday I wipe everything and update to clean rom ICS, phone runs GREAT! no problems all day, get off work phone is locked up after listening to music most of the day, no big, pull battery, start phone, all good.

get home, battery low, put it on the charger, get some food watch a little TV "huh, i'll play with the phone a bit" pick phone up, phone is dead. ok, try different charger/PC link cable, let it charge for about two hours now, no change, pull battery let it sit for about 10~15 minutes. no change, phone does not boot, I only get a red LED wen I plug the charger in and then it go's away wen I try to power on.... hoping to god this is a battery issue, I'm rooted with no insurance and I can not afford a new evo 3d... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!

exact same thing just happened to me a few days ago...took my phone to sprint and they ordered me a new phone cuz they thought it was fried, but even the new phone would do the same thing at the store. So they pretty much told me it was my battery. Even tho it still looked new (wasn't expanded or anything) I should get my new battery tomorrow and hopefully that solves it

Yeah, I wish it was just my battery, last night I had a buddy with a 3d sway batterys with me and my touch screen is now non-responsive... I think ICS just up and decided to drop all hardware compatibility :( Though I think my battery is fried as it doesn't charge in dads 3d >.<" what a time for all this shite to happen.. lol I'm tight this month and cant afford to go buying things to fix that damn phone :(

new batteries are cheap on most websites...and there is ways to recover your phone, just look on XDA websites and look up brick recoveries...they can be done
