Root [CDMA] Evo 3D meanRom apps

I' m running Mean Rom 651.5 on Hboot 1.5 S on
everything runs nicely except when I try and use the market and few other apps that deal with Google in directly or directly. the message I get say:

the application Google services Framework (process com. Google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force close

I'm very new to the whole root process and had to learn the hard way about flashing roms and what kernels mean/are and do etc.. because I didn't flash my phone my self and had someone do it for me. so my question is am I missing gapps? I ran this rom before with no problems what so ever until I started to try ICS roms after I tried the ICS Roms I wanted to come back to the MeanRom because I think its a great dd rom and I really love it and want to us it until a stable ICS comes out. so your help is appreciated. thank you in advance everyone.

Have you tried rebooting, yet? Usually when I see that, a simple reboot is enough to fix it. Or clearing data on the market and talk. You could flash GApps again, just make sure to use a GApps for Gingerbread and not ICS.

I'm going too hunt down the gapps for gingerbread then... that sounds like a logical explanation to me. I have rebooted and it doesn't fix the problem. thank you for your advice. now too hunt down a link for gingerbread! thanks again. I will post an update.

okay so, I think I found the gingerbread kernels the only thing is I'm not sure which to pick. any suggestion? GINGERBREAD KERNEL's

well my update isn't good . I though maybe the idea of loading gapps for gingerbread would work but I still have the same problem and my Google apps will not load and force close. I m not sure what I may have done wrong but if someone out there can tell me what I need to do I would appreciate it very much. thank you in advance.

There is no need to install Gapps, if you are having an issue with your MeanRom, then simply reflash it, and reboot and report back, you may have a bad download, what version Meanrom you running ?? 2.17.651.5 is the base version, so if you are on Meanrom, you need to make sure you are on that base version

Oh...I completely forgot, you need to run a "Fix Permissions" in recovery to fix FC issues. Reflashing the ROM should also fix it, as it resets the permissions.

And all of those kernels are for the Evo 4G. DO NOT flash them. Get a kernel for the Evo 3D only. A list of them are sticked to the top of the forum.

this is the version I have 2.17.651.5 CL245066 release keys. I have also back up erased and flashed so I'm thinking bad rom? please let me know where to down load a good one. ty guys I appreciate it. I'm like a total noob at this but I learn fast ...lol

If your hboot 1.5 make sure and follow jerfolds guide to.install your kernel properly. That could be what's causing the problems. If you want a custom kernel sign up at infected rom and.get the anthrax kernel and make sure to flash through fastboot or the app flash image GUI then flash the rom after the kernel. If you want to use stock kernel for mean use your archiver and take the boot.img from the rom and flash it with fastboot then boot to recovery and flash the rom.

Dude you're the man! went to the site then went to downloads, downloaded a new MeanRom zip ... backed up then system whipe /factory reset .... installed new MeanRom zip... rebooted and whala I'm good to go until we have a stable ICS. guys thank you all very much for your help I really do appreciate it.
