Hello and welcome, JusJes. Your question specific to the EVO 3D root temp or perm has been moved to that device's All Things Root area for you.
For most Android devices, temp root has all of the benefits of perm root, but returns the system to un-rooted once rebooted.
Let's see what is said about the EVO 3D in here with regard to that.
The old Fre3dom temp root wouldn't keep any modifications from temp root, as it created a false /system directory. It was mostly just used for Titanium Backups and such.
Full root means you can fully modify everything and install custom ROMs and kernels.
There's another temp root, but I'm not sure if it modifies /system or if it also creates the false /system like the old method would.
