Root [CDMA] Fastest rom yet _The express_

Just tried this rom out. It is by far the fastest rom I've seen on this device. It's a port/mashup of the EVO view tab and the 3vo. The landscape Rosie has gotta be the coolest feature on it. It's definatly worth trying. I think they have a website customromz dot com check it I out soon. I heard rumors of part of the team wanting to charge money for it. (Crazy I know)

Post some screen shots, so others can see, I can tell you this that if they charge they will be left in the dark. ;)

For those interested I believe this is the Rom he is talking about, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1542036

The rosie widgets don't scale all that well in landscape, do they? :p

at first boot there was some resizing issues but it went away. The placement looks a hair off center but its so fast i dont care. its such a cool feel the couple bugs like that dont bother me. However landscape is not where the issue is it was with portrait. I think they worked so hard to get landscape that it was slow building dalvic to resize when going back to portrait from landscape. But like i said that went away fast.

I tried this rom, anytime I added a sense widget (friendstream, twitter...etc) It wouldn't work and I'd get a sense reboot.

/shrug I don't see the point in speed anymore. My second core is offline more often than not. Everything I run boots quickly and runs smoothly. I'm more about aesthetics, now. So the not being centered thing would irk me. Plus I think ADW does a better job of landscape mode. Which it isn't very aesthetically pleasing, either, but I rarely use landscape mode.

You should probably try clearing the cache/dalvik out. Maybe even data to make sure.

That's a known bug if your logged in to twiiter or Facebook for sense. The launcher will restart when you try to trash it. I just deleted the app and widget with root explorer since I don't use it anyway. Haven't had a launcher restart since.

@ jerofold I was the same for a while with asthetics that's why I stuck with mean for so long. However I'm a sense UI lover. I never really use third party launchers. I just feel if I was gonna do that I may as well be on aosp. I had been running mean since version 10 and have been wanting something different and all the ics roms were way too buggy for me. The resizing issues aren't anything you see unless your staring and nit picking. It's basically one of those things you would have to try out and see. I'd be willing to bet this rom takes the limelight away from mean once it hits RLS. JMO
