Root [CDMA] File package is invalid?

Could someone tell me why my Google Play Store says "file package is invalid" when I try to download or update an app? It does it whether I'm connected to wi-fi or 3G. I erased my updates to the market so it's now the market that came on the phone, but that didn't work. How do I fix this?
My phone is an HTC EVO 3D / 4G

maybe try and clear data and cache for the play store.
