I followed the tutorial to the max. I did everything as the videos did it and only get internet . When I make a call I get "error 16 switch 392 "and than hangs up. I get internet but nothing else. Sms gives me a radio resources low and will keep doing it until I restart the phone.

I'm running hboot 1.58 s-off with z3rdxl and anthrax kernel. I live roughly 60 miles from Chicago. Please help

flashing a cdma device to a new carrier is potentially illegal and fraudulent,if one is doing so to utilize a bad esn device that is the result of non-payment,or outright theft.

not that we think you would so such things, but due to the sensitive nature of it android forums does not condone any guides and/or discussion of cdma phone flashing.

your best bet is to find a cricket flasher/users forum and post your questions there.

sorry we cannot be of more help.

Got the phone from my brother who was not using it. I hated seeing collect dust. And I hate sprint and have cricket lol. I was just going to use it as a wireless device for games and stuff. I've done everything I can to the phone, this was the only other thing I could thinkk to do. I did not know its illegal I will just ne ver use sprint, and hate the fact they think they can try to say this can only be used for us when my bro paid like 400$ for this phone.

I don't know if you can help now lol but thanks

as long as he fullfilled his contract,or purchased the phone outright,it is not illegal to flash the device to another network that allows doing so... cloning a device in order to steal service or use on a network that would not normally allow it is illegal,as well as flashing to a new service because the esn is bad.

theres just a very fine line between whats fraudulent and whats not,so policy prevents us from giving any advice on the matter.

what youre doing is fine... we just are not allowed to help you. find yourself a good cricker forum, and im sure you can get your issues worked out. then come back here and well be happy to help with any questions you have about rooting and roms :D

Scotty said it very well.

The rule of thumb is, at least of us here in the States, is that the target carrier must do the flashing in order for everything to be on the up-and-up.

Gotta close the thread--hope you understand.
