Root [CDMA] Get ready for OTA's!

My moto g is now dead...dropped and broke the display/digitizer ...ironically the glass didn't crack...way to go Corning! [emoji19] lol
Damn, that sucks, wanna buy a bricked one for a reasonable price for parts? LOL.

Wow! I am surprised about that. This phone has proven to be one of the most rugged smart phones I have had since I had a Motorola i1 for Nextel.

Perfect example. I bike 7.2 miles to and from work and I have to cross a bridge with a particularly steep gradient, last Sunday I had my phone mounted on my handle bars and I hit drainage grate and the phone came off the mount and hit the concrete hard. I picked it up thinking shatter LCD and digitizer and by the grace of God the front was not even scratched.

Found out the next day by using a speedometer app that I hit 42MPH going down the bridge.

So needless to say...

This is a damn tough phone.

Yeah replacing the digitizer and display was more expensive than buying a new one lol. I love the non "Droid" Motorola hardware I have 2 first gen Gs and a 2nd Gen X and they're just some of the best built and well supported devices I've ever owned outside of Nexus devices.

hey bro how to flash this file in my motorola xt1031 .... my phon is stuck on boot logo please help me
Is it stuck on boot logo, or boot animation? Cuz it will stay on bootanimation for 5 or 10 mins until it starts. If it's stuck on the boot logo, your doing something wrong. Just do a complete wipe and flash with an up to date recovery and you should be good.

Hello all... a bit of a noob with this Moto G - Just received it yesterday. Long story short just have a couple questions. The one I have is a "TextMe" phone - runs on Boost Mobile network but uses TextMe for messages/calls. If I flash this will it somehow mess up my service? Already verified that the Boost Mobile number is active by having someone call it directly instead of my TextMe phone number. I just have no idea what it would do in terms of my data or messages sent to that number or anything else? Anyone else on here have this? I noticed one guy said he had TextMe and everything went ok?

Just download it from Google Play Store.

Boost Mobile MOTO G, 1031X. Updated to 5.1 a week ago. Lots of problems, maybe caused by memory overload? Any suggestions?
