Root [CDMA] Ghost touching.

Hockey16

Newbie
Just went to the sprint store with a rooted phone... Didn't mention that it was rooted, got the screen replaced without a problem, no more ghost touching problem :D

Maybe it helped that the sprint rep had the same problem with his evo 3d, but doesn't matter, they fixed it (with a rooted phone).

Just wanted to say, they fixed ghost touching... and broke the ribbon that connects to my camera (didn't realize till today when I tried taking a picture)

They are sending me a replacement next week...

Good your getting a replacement, bad that you have to root it again and set it all up :(

Why not make a backup in order to restore to the new phone? The camera should be a hardware problem... No software should have been harmed... Right?

Correct, but sometimes it also could be Rom related depending on the Rom he is on. As for a Nandroid that is fine as long as his phone has the same specs of his first phone when rooted.

It was hardware related (they ripped the ribbon that connects to the camera)
