Root [CDMA] I need help

Ok, now that I have your attention..this IS serious. I've been messing with rooting my phones, flashing ROMS etc, for quite sometime...last nite I got this crazy notion to try and S-off my phone...seemed like a good idea. I had been running Newts ONE S *RLS1...have LOVED it, but lots of dropped calls and no 4G and other little quirks were getting annoying. I followed all of the steps from nowhereman(??) I was up til 4, I can't remember...on how to get S-off...I got s-off alright...but now, I can't get out of HBOOT (do have 1.50), so I can't do ANYTHING. I get a screen that says

Done this 120 times.



If I boot the phone normally, where it WAS working, now, I get a black screen, picture of a phone with a red triangle w/! on it. Doesn't matter how many times I do vol down + power...brings me back to the same HBOOT screen. Please, please help!!! This is my only line of communication...hubby is out of town (not that he could fix it, this is MY thing....lol) and I'm totally stressed.

can you boot into recovery?

if so try flashing a backup..

if you have no backup try flashing a new rom.

if you have no recovery.. flash a recovery from hboot or push it to your phone with adb

Can only boot to the screen showing HBOOT...it will only let let me do what IT wants me to do. When I first hit vol up + power, I see the Fastboot screen briefly, then, HBOOT takes control...I can reach android system recovery and view my sd card, I have full version of 4EXT on there, but doesn't seem to be anything in there to help. Trying to figure out if there is a recovery I can put on the SD card and run from this screen, or even a PC based app the help me out. This would be LOTS of fun if I had other ways of communication with the outside world!! Could you explain "push it to you phone with adb"??? Thanks SOO much in advance...I was starting to worry no one would respond!!

Make sure u don't have a pg86img.zip file on the root of ur sdcard. Probably will have to take the sdcard out of ur phone and stick it in an adapter for a pc.

You can plug your USB cable into the phone and PC then load HBOOT mode. It'll go to FASTBOOT mode first and won't query the SD card for an update. From there you can go into recovery via the fastboot command "fastboot boot recovery.img" and then you can mount your SD card via recovery to delete the pg86img.zip file, and also flash any files you need to.
