Root [CDMA] is it possible to root hboot 1.7 ?

I got my 3vo three days ago. when I get to revolutionary.exe install it says device not supported. did vm plug the loophole ? can i root my phone? I got ics 4.0.3

Don't know about that Hoot version, id your phone a GSM ?? the CDMA latest version is HBoot 1.58

I'm stock Virgin Mobile, which should be CDMA. I have hboot 1.57

I would love to find instructions to root my phone. I haven't found anything that roots the newest phone that I appear to have.

So maybe this is the problem im having. I also have the vm evo 3d. I got it about a week ago. So do i need to get the files for evo v 4g, or evo 3d. Its also hboot 1.57

If it's virgin Mobile you need to follow Evo v 4g root method with link I provided above, using evo 3D method won't work
