Root CDMA Kernal ASOP with loop support please?

I made a mistake on the word "KERNAL" in the title,its supposed to be kernel, but anyways I posted this on XDA, but all i got was someone posting a GSM link for me. Guys, I have a CDMA desire and I was just wondering if anyone can help me find a kernel, or has a kernel that supports loop. I was trying to install ubuntu onto my desire, but i cant without loop. If there isnt a loop kernel for the CDMA desire, can someone help me find another way to install ubuntu. Thank you so much

I'm sure that 99% of the people on here use gsm phones. I thought xda would of been your best chance of getting one.
