Root [CDMA] Market issue, anyone else?

I have had a few friends mentioned they were having market issues, such as apps updating by themselves when it was not check marked, sometimes it would say there is an app update, you check the update and it only shows a few apps and not all your apps installed, and no updates. Then to find the update you have to go to settings and applications, and find the market app and clear cache and data, and then log back into the market to see all your apps again, along with the new updates. Now this was not happening to me when asked, but funny enough this week it has been happening to me also now. Now I am rooted but I am not posting this in the rooted sections because some of my friends that asked me if I was having this issue were not all rooted. I also noticed that the SU app now wants to update and I have updated it, but then I was not able to use some apps that were asking for SU rights, so I had to uninstall the updates to get the SU to work again. Now this maybe related to the latest market app I am not sure so I figured I would post it here, the Market version app I am on and others also is 3.1.5

FYI if a Mod thinks they would prefer this to be posted in the rooted section please move it, but since it is happening to peeps rooted and not rooted I thought there would be more exposure in this section, I will also do some research later on on XDA see if anyone there has been having this issue lately.

Yah, I get the update notice, and when I check in the market there is no app needing an update. I don't search it out, or clear cache, or anything like that. I just wait it out, and in a few hours it shows up needing the real update, at which time it gets updated. I don't have time to search it out, and the updates are rarely groundbreaking, or urgent anyway, so no worries.

lets keep this in the rooted section. ive left a lengthy redirect so stock non rooted peeps can still see the discussion in the short term.

ive not had any issues with the xoom or the 3D. both are stock non rooted.

you are using the update market correct? so is this forced by you or did you get it OTA? im still on the old market on the 3D. the xoom has updated to the new market in the last update for the xoom. it lets you pick which gmail account to use. i have 3.

is the new market allowing you to choose which account to sync to? perhaps this is partially the issue? i can see someone having multiple accounts going to the store and being under a secondary account and not seeing all of their apps.

Well discussing with others and from my own experience this week, is some got the latest market from the update, and a few of us did force the update, but it seems as though were are all having the same issue, either or. I am only using one Gmail account with the Gmail app and the other Gmail is only being used with the K9Mail. So I am not sure what is causing this issue all of a sudden, but I may revert back to the old Market if it still keeps on happening.

Anybody else having these issue please report here so we can figure the culprit all of a sudden.

Same here, does not always happen, but has happened a few times within the past few weeks, but thought I would post it to see if others have been having the same issue, mine has only happened within the past week, I think my friends have jinxed me

Been testing for a week now, and I notice if the market tells you there is an update, I don't update it, i simply clear it out, and then I manually open the market and go to my apps and check the updates and have not had an issue since.

Another issue I would like to get rid of, I uninstalled Amazon MP3 app, but it sill still shows in the market in the apps when you scroll to the bottom and shows up in the not installed, anyway of getting rid of that, I assume that is there because it was installed with the stock Rom when flashed ??
