Root [CDMA] MEANROM v2.9 Need Help

So, i was messing around and decided to try this modification out like an idiot.

WIreless N don't ever mod phones wile under the influence. ANyways, it is giving me an error in my wireless connections. I have tried using a backup, flashing new ROMs. No avail, can someone please make a copy of their working one and post it on here so I can fix this on my phone? I desperately need wireless by the morning.

Did you try to format /system before flashing the ROM? The file is in the ROM. It just might not be overwriting it when you flash. So format /system, /data, and /cache then try flashing MeanROM again.

Also, this mod isn't needed. I have my router set to Wireless N only and my phone has always connected without a mod. And I get 65 Mbps, like the mod author claims he has.

By format you mean wiping/clearing with TWRP, correct? Yes I did do that.

Doing the above does nothing. Required the kernel to be reflashed before Wi-Fi worked again. For the record, not even using a nandroid allowed me to undo it.

No he means do a full FR and re flash from fresh, create a Nandroid for safe keeping, if it doesn't work then you can Nandroid back and be right back where you were, also did you do a Nandroid before you flashed MeanRom, if you did restore that first and see if your Wireless works

Actually, I didn't mean either. I meant an actual format. Wiping just deletes everything in the partition. FR just resets the /data partition. Formatting it forces the partition to not only clear, but to re configure the partition. You can find the option to format /data, /cache, and /system in Advanced options. I don't think TWRP 2 has the option to format the partitions. TWRP 1.1.1 does, though. So does the new Recovery I linked in the thread listing. Then re flash the ROM and kernel (if you use a custom kernel). This is about as clean of a slate as you can get without flashing the RUU.

I've had it where I was experiencing problems with a ROM and even wiping everything in the wipe menu didn't fix everything. I had to do a format to get it to work. It was odd, but easy to fix.

I did a wipe and factory reset with everything in TWRP. None of that worked. I did a restore from a previous nandroid to no avail. The only thing that worked was reflashing the Anthrax Kernel.

I mentioned in my first post I tried using a backup and it didn't work.
