Weird thing:
I use Handcent for my SMS messages, with pop-ups enabled.
When I started switching ROMs, I stayed in the Sense family for familiarity. One thing I found, my SMS pop up window appeared 5-10 seconds before my messages appear in the Handcent app (on notification bar).
I switched to Senseless ROM and this issue stopped.
On a whim, I loaded Supra (CM7, w Sense), and *bam* my lag has returned.
I truly don't know if this is a sense issue, or a ROM issue, or just stupid coincidence. Anybody else out there seeing similar weirdness?
