yes those are the ones I was referring to as "Testing" in my original post. Are there any official released roms? Are there going to be more updates?

5.1 official will be out soon... Test ROM or soak as it is called is stable for boost users but not for flashed to other network users

Android lollipop is currently in the longest soak test in the history of mankind for the boost g. It is obviously the most important update ever created so I guess they are going through an 8 month soak test for it to make sure its perfect. It should be released by 2017 when they finally get all the results of the soak test completed

I was semi kidding in my post but honestly 6 months is a long time. I have a feeling they're just sitting on the update. If you looked at the release sheets for the moto g 3rd gen they did make a sprint CDMA version that will prolly be heading over to boost. They may be just sitting on the update until that arrives first then maybe release it. They did also drop the price of the g on there own website so may be eol for the boost original g coming up. Would be nice if they did officially update it though before that.

I flashed both partition updaters but something weird happened. After rebooting there seemed to be a vsync issue because a tear line would scroll down the screen and some flickering happened. After I flashed the rom it went away. I don't know why modifying the partitions would cause that. I suppose because I modified the partitions for lolipop but I rebooted into kitkat before flashing lolipop? I don't really know what flashing the partitions does. Is there a way to get partition information to know that they are correct?

Are there any known issues with this latest siak test? I am having a issue where my phone will drop a WiFi connection and when it tries to reconnect the phone will reboot and worse will wipe the cache and dalvik/art cache and "optimizes" the apps.

I know this is a soak test and there will be issued, but I has this same issue with the 5.01 soak test and would have hoped Motorola would have caught it.

This will be the last phone I will own that will run on Sprints network. The phone is great as is my Nexus 6, I have been a fan of Motorola going back to my first iDEN phone back when Nextel was called Fleet Call in 1993. But I will be moving to Tennessee where Sprint has ZERO foot print. So I will be using my Nexus 6 with Mobile Nation until the next Nexus drops. As for Boost Mobile getting the next Moto G, not gonna happen. Apparently they will continue with the Moto E, Virgin will have the G and Sprint will have the E, G and X. I got this from a friend who is the Sprint representative for my home area.

If they do that that would be a huge mistake. Boost is by far their most popular prepaid branch and by only offering the new g on virgin and sprint prepaid they'd be shooting themselves in the foot. I wouldn't be shocked if that's the plan but like most things sprint does it doesn't make sense. It's prolly only the 8gb storage 1 gb ram model for CDMA but still, not offering it on boost makes zero sense but is typical sprint thinking

Flash 5.0.2 partitions including modem and stock zip both by SuperR, it will as as good as boost fresh phone.

I really hate to ask this as I like to figure out stuff on my own.
But after following the instructions stated in the OP. After the boot animation or whatever, my screen is just sitting on a black screen. I've wiped/ flashed the partition updater first then the latest soak.
Any suggestions? i've revereted back to 4.4.4 using the .zip in OP and tried again but still getting black screen after boot animation.

Edit: Nevermind I got it :D
I forgot to flash the 51 partition updater before 51-2 >.<

Edit Edit: is there xposed for 5.1?

Edit Edit Edit: Got it! :)

5.1 is already available in stock soak test and custom roms. If you are looking for stock 5.1 ROMs you can find a link to them in the OP of this thread. If you are looking for custom ROMs, there are several by @Seraph08 you should check out :)

so the 5.1 soak test posted in this thread is the release?
