Root [CDMA] Need Evo 3D build.prop file please.

Hello all,

I come to you from the Evo V 4G forums asking for some help. The Evo V is the Virgin Mobile version of the Evo 3D and since it's so new, many games will not install on it.

So I was wondering if someone could be nice enough to upload their build.prop file from the Sprint version of the 3D.

I don't know enough about modifying Android system files but I was hoping to post it back on the VM forum and have someone make it so I could play games like GTA3 and all of the Gameloft ones.

Doesn't that fix the firmware for those that flashed the VM firmware on their Sprint phones?

As for the OP: I currently don't have a stock ROM to give you a build.prop, but if you download the stock rooted ROM from the stickied Newbie guide, you can extract it from that ROM. But that'll be of a Gingerbread ROM.

Thanks for the help. I ended up getting the prop file from someone on reddit. But after modifying my prop file with the data from the Evo 3D, I then discovered that GTA3 isn't compatible with it either.

Luckily I restored GTA from a Titanium Backup that I did with my Moto Triumph. But I'd still like it to be associated with the market some day.

I don't know if this is possible, but could you change the build.prop to an entirely different phone and change it back after downloading the game?
