Root [CDMA] New 2.17.651.5 Update Issues

Does anybody with the new update, I did the odex, lock up a lot, and you have to hit the back key for it to unlock and respond. Also, does it happen to you too when answereing the phone where it will show at the bottom answer or end while on the call. The phone doesn't lockup completely where it becomes irresponsive, but the touch screen will be inactive until the back button is pressed sometimes. I was wondering is this normal, and happens to others, or not.

are you rooted? did you take the ota update? if so what hboot are you on?

Rooted. Hboot 1.5, I downloaded the rooted one off xda and installed it with clockwork

i just switched to a 651.5 rom myself but i relocked my bootloader and ran the sprint 651.5 RUU from my pc then re unlocked and root etc... 0 problems for me

people are having problems with stuff like that when not flashing from the same firmware

I guess there's a lot to do sounding from that. How long did it take you to do all of this. I would have to read up a lot, because I had someone root my phone a long time ago.

download the 2.17.651.5 RUU
FileFactory Folder view - Shooter

load your phone into fastboot usb and run the command "fastboot oem lock"
without the quotes ofcourse.
^^im assuming you know how to do this^^
^^if you dont know how to do this then read the instructions on unlocking first^^

Instead of twrp, can I use clockwork which he put on here. I've heard twrp has caused problem using that recovery tool

yeah i use twrp because clockwork gave me hell... but devices act different
