Root [CDMA] New ICS update Problem

So last night i got the update notification and downloaded it then tried to update it but it failed i dont know why is root causing this problem or what im on stock gingerbread and did anyone else had this problem

If your phone is rooted then DO NOT TAKE ANY OTA UPDATES. On the other hand if your phone is not rooted and you are simply upgrading than there should be no problems unless the download is corrupted. If that is the case power off, power on then try to download again.

If your rooted as the other member mentioned, you should not take any OTA updates, depending on the Rom you are on it maybe disabled anyways, usually if a new update comes out the Devs have them released pretty quick.

Seriously never take an update if rooted. Hboot 1.4 and freedom to flash any Rom is greater than any update that locks you out of your own device...
