Root [CDMA] Oh crap

I need help immediately. I kept getting a system update notification in my notification bar and couldn't remove it. Accidentally hit it and it started downloading the update. It got to 83% before I cut the wifi and mobile network. How do I kill this download and what is the file name so I can find it and erase it. I am rooted through revolution with a hboot 1.3 or 1.4. I refuse to have to go to a new software version that can only be unlocked with htc's way. What do I do now?

Do you have titanium backup or mybackup pro? Find the app named "Updater" and "Upgrade Setup" and freeze them both. This makes it so that app can't run and notify you that you have an update. If I click on Settings > Software Updates > HTC Updates, Android gives me an FC error, so I know it works :)

I think the file you were downloading is kept in your /cache directory. So if you reboot into recovery and wipe your cache and dalvik cache, it should clear out the file.
