Root [CDMA] PRL update gone on CM based ROMS

Do I have to enter a number in dialer to do this? The PRL is gone..

If its anything like other CDMA phones (and I'm betting it is), you'll need to have a nandroid of a stock based ROM to do a prl or profile update.

It was a zip file. I flashed that was to do partitions..

this is a little off topic but since you're changing PRL, im guessing you are trying to improve 3g speeds, this might be helpful. I want to edit the settings you get with dialer code ##3282#. But I can't get my MSL code. Using terminal emulator I use the CMDs "su"(Not sure if this is really needed but i don't see how it can hurt) then "getprop ril.MSL" it returns a blank line. Any idea how else i can get it...besides from calling boost and asking them for it?

On which ROM you are, if it is stock 4.4.2 or below, you are in luck.

Only way i found that works is by going back to stock, enable wifi and then installing and running SPC Utility from http://www.mediafire.com/download/i038c12rrdcbtlj/SPCUtility.apk.

Using terminal emulator, logcat, MSL apps, and running SPC Utility on any version but stock failed.

Now on the PRL updating, i wanted to try manually updating through CDMA workshop. TBH I want to to change my boost PRL to a sprint one. Main problem I have is that I can't get my win7 laptop to recognize Moto G. The only time i think that it worked was when I rooted it. And yes I've tried re installing the 64 driver, both official and unofficial, bought a new usb cord, no luck. Then if I get that I still need the security settings for CDMA. Any help would be appreciated
