Root [CDMA] Reinstalled MeanICS Now Missing MainApps

I borked my rom so I had to reinstall. Reinstalled using the rom that was already on my SD card and now I'm missing my main apps (car panel, maps, even play store). Huge problem, any help greatly appreciated. If I click on any of them they say application not installed

I had this problem when I flash mean ics the first time, tried reflashing no dice same thing. Had to google the apk's I was missing and download/ install that way to get them back.

You can flash Gapps to....
Does Mean use an Aroma installer? Be sure you are installing the Gapps if so.

Thanks for the input! I ended up installing play store from the apk and then was able to get everything going fine. The "weird" thing is that I followed these instructions for play store:

Download the Google Play Store APK 3.7.13 -- An Update Over 3.7.11

When I downloaded the file on my phone it was a txt file, I had to manually rename it apk, then it installed no problem. Should I be concerned about that?

Did you do a Titanium backup (or some similar app) of your apps & data If so you can restore them.
