Give XDA a try they might be able to resolve your issue

Scotty, I think he did of sort of answer them, he took the OTA update, he is not rooted, so someone moved his post to the rooted section, and he does not see the HBoot version. I have also tried to get him to do a FR from bootloader, but he cannot. also HTC told him there was nothing else they could do for him, he had to bring the phone in, he needs to flash the RUU from BL.

Answer these questions?

I moved it here as I figured flashing a rom would require root. If you think it belongs elsewhere, feel free to move it.:)

And thanks guys for trying to help here.

Right. He's not tried to.flash anything that Ive seen. Bootloader version and baseband will help us.find the correct ruu,and.should.be visible in hboot even if not rooted.

Once the correct ruu is.determined,he can download and run the .exe. if he has trouble.there,he,or us, can extract Rom.zip. I am a huge fan.of the .exe files,I believe one should.always run them.first.where .avaable.

So if.I'm understanding,he's pulled the sd during an.ota? Not while flashing in hboot? Either way there is.a.very good chance the ruu will recover it if the phone was not.interrupted while.flashing the radio.

Admittedly,im.at.work,so.its hard to.give it my undivided attention

Yep, lets see if he comes back after checking over at XDA, here is what he responded to you earlier

I took my SD card out because I thought that I could prevent anything from being deleted (nobbie thing to do I know). On my hboot men I have Fastboot, Recovery, Factory Reset, Simlock and Image CRC.

When I took the SD card out I was updating to the new Icecream Sandwich firmware.

yes,i saw that reply but he left out the important info at the top of the screen ;)

i guess hes not been back yet, hopefully he will show up again if he finds a solution(or doesnt)

also sorry about the incoherent posts and all the periods, its what happens when i try and type quickly on my phone at work, lol. :o

NP bro, we respect your insight no matter what, and this is not my specialty either, I have some knowledge but nowhere near what you have, well more because of my choosing, lol but I assume he is not back BC he is in the UK and when we were trying to help him it was around 9 or 10 PM there, and by now he is most likely gone to his carrier this afternoon, I say afternoon BC I believe they are 5 hours ahead of us, lol I believe you hit the hammer on the nail, most likely using the RUU.exe would have solved his issue knowing his proper HBoot, rather than trying to get him to flash it from bootloader.

I sent him a PM, to see what the final outcome was, I also told him if he did not have it fixed yet to come back here that we had a few other suggestions for him, we wait patiently. ;)
