Welcome to SenselessROM - For those who want the lock stock AOSP / Gingerbread but with functionality of Sense
All Apps are up to date as of 11/24/2011.
ROM is de-odexed and based on official Sprint RUU 2.08.651.2.

You MUST read posts #2 before flashing!​

Prerequisites
  • Custom Recovery installed
  • hboot 1.3 / hboot 1.4 / hboot 1.5
  • Note to hboot 1.5 Users you will loose WiFi and 4G unless read the hboot 1.5 notes HERE

How to Flash
  • Download ROM and place on the root of your SD Card
  • Boot into recovery mode
  • Wipe Data / Factory Reset
  • Flash ROM

Flashed this yesterday and I like it a lot. Seems very smooth and stable. Rom updater is a very useful tool as well. A well made rom for sure, looks like I've found my new daily driver.
 
flashed this yesterday and its great. Only issue I noticed was after checking my E-mail my notification led kept flashing. was unable to get it to stop until I did a restart. I hope this doesn't sound like I complaining because I'm not this is excellent.

Quick Question:

I went to flash this ROM, but when I went into bootloader, then Recovery, my phone just restarted back to the home screen. It did the same thing when I tried to launch into Recovery using quickboot. Should I just use the same

fastboot flash recovery cwm-4.0.1.4-shooter.img

That I used to originally give me the Recovery command?Thought I'd ask before actually doing it just to be safe

Having a problem tethering with 4G when I use the Sprint hotspot it pops up 4G hotspot active then within seconds switches to 3G. It shows the 4G antenna with a ? I am unable to turn on 4G on it just says checking then disconnects. I'm in a strong 4G area. I also tried wi fi tether and although it shows 4G active its only downloading .4 kbs at full 4G strength it shows I'm on Sprint network at good strength. Is anyone else having this problem ?

What recovery do you have on there now?

Its because the hotspot by sprint wont tether with 4G (Not the hack anyways), thats why I included WIFi Tether. It works 3G and 4G. Not sure why you are not seeing full 4G with it.
Did you turn on all the options on in WiFi tether?
MSS CLamping, HTC Routing FIx and select device to be Evo 3D?
 
Scros, i had CWM 4.0.1.4 loaded. It worked fine when I booted into recovery to flash the stock ROM provided when I rooted. But now, Whenever I try to go into Recovery it brings up the white HTC screen and boots normally. (Fast boot is off). Even if I use Quickboot to try to immdiately boot into Recovery, it boots to the home screen.

I dont think this is an issue with the ROM as someone who has never flashed a custom ROM is having a near identical issue. He was able to get to recovery one time and then cant get back. I think its something with the recovery: Can't factory reset after root - Android Forums

Are you on the latest OTA 2.08.651.1?
 
That was what I was asking in my original post haha. I didnt want to go about doing that if it were to screw anything up, as I have S-on and don't want a bricked phone. I will do so tonight when I get off work

The only way you will brick the phone is if you try to flash an incorrect hboot. hboot is like the true bootloader for the phone. If you can get into hboot you can fix almost anything...

So to answer your question I would say its safe to flash twrp with your current config. I also heard you need a special version of twrp (unconfirmed by me) to work properly with hboot 1.5. There is a thread started by donb that links to an xda thread that has the "special" version... Check that out before flashing.
 
Scott, I have a question, just curious, as some of us like senseless Roms, but the only things that hold some back from loading them is that you cannot update the PRL or profile on them because they are senseless, can a ROM be without all the sense bloat, but still have the ability to update the PRL and Profile on your senseless Rom, just a thought, not sure it can be done, but thought I would ask, as I am torn between the 2 Roms to install that you have released, LOL Thoughts if any, thanks again for all your time ;)

Who said you cannot update PRL or Profile? I never said that....

EDIT: Ok, I tested the PRL / PROFILE thing and it works fine on my ROM. I dont know who told you that it wouldst work but direct them to me and I will get them going in the right direct.
 
Sorry for the misunderstanding, I assumed that most senseless ROM's did not have that option, I am sorry for the misunderstanding, I will flash it today, thanks again
