You need to do a Dalvik wipe and it would be best, just to be on the safe side, to do a cache wipe as well. Once you get past the initial fear of your first ROM flash, you'll end up doing it all the time "just to see" what the other ROM's are like before finally settling on your favorite. I was going to wait to root until it's been around a little longer and make sure all the bugs are worked out, but as I was reading this forum one night, minding my own business, I looked down and I was rooted. Don't know how it happened. It was and out of body experience. Then I was reading up on Viper ROM, just reading mind you, because I wanted to wait again...then I looked down and my phone is rebooting and the Viper ROM screen animation is flashing across my screen (extremely awesome animation btw). I flashed and flashed and flashed my Evo 4G once I got the hang of it, ended up rooting and flashing a ROM on my Galaxy Tab as well. So far, I've rooted 6 different android phones for friends and co-workers. Beware...once you get started, there is no turning back. You have been warned.
