Root [CDMA] Root and Flash Clockwork (Video)

I'm generally pretty technically knowledgeable, and have been slowly watching this root progress from the sidelines. I've seen that this root process is still labelled as "pre-release" or "beta", and I'm really only rooting the phone for superuser access -- wireless tether, titanium backup, etc (so I'm concerned about risks of rendering the phone unusable or having to spend a lot of time messing with it).

Is this a root process that I can/should jump on? Thanks in advance!

I haven't reviewed this vid - but if you follow directions closely, it's pretty straightforward.

1. Prepare your downloads first.

2. Apply s-off, then recovery, then su access.

There's a dice roll that you may have to call Sprint to help re-activate the phone. People overthink this - it's not difficult, I hit this issue right off.

After root - make backups, change nothing for a day or two, just monitor, make sure you're happy.

If you regret your decision at any time, an RUU with instructions are here and have been used to completely reverse this move.

At some point we expect some sort of final form, maybe a one-touch (single-click) method.
