so I was reading on another fourm to see if anyone has broken the led barrier on the HTC EVO 3d (not being able to let both green and Amber led flash to create a yellow color) then I came across this:
" Turn both on when you receive a text = solid yellow. Flash both at the same time = flash yellow. This is assuming you use 100 as the value for brightness on both LEDs. It isn't very hard to do. You can write your own script to do this but Tasker makes it a lot easier.
To easily test this run this command in a terminal with root (su when you open terminal)
echo 100 > /sys/devices/platform/leds-pm8058/leds/amber/brightness
echo 100 > /sys/devices/platform/leds-pm8058/leds/green/brightness
This produces a pretty, solid, yellow glow. "
I tried out the command in the terminal emulator and it worked,a pretty yellow for sure I add.So now as stated in the 1st paragraph there's a possible way to make a script to enable this (I am far from a scripter).if there is a way to make a script will this be able to be used in a way that will allow the phone to sleep unlike using tasker and other apps that force the phone awake?I will love to write a script of my own,all I need is an idea how to,sadly Google can't even help me there.
So if anyone has an idea how to do this post it up,if there's no way to do this tell me,if your interested in figuring it out state so,questions?ask em.
