Root [CDMA] Root my evo with Android version 2.3.4

I've attempting to use the revolutionary way this is what I got:


Your device: shooter, with HBOOT 1.50.0000 is not supported at this time.


I'm not advanced at this type of stuff so I do prefer a walk through and/or video but any help would be great.

This should be in the root section, there are quite a few stickies on how to root. You HAVE to root via the HTC unlock method and discussion of using free wireless tether is against tos and should not be discussed in this open forum
