Root [CDMA] (rooted user) Turn on Screen Via Touch(

Hi All,

Is there a way to turn on the screen after a time out via touch instead of by pushing the top button? I want to use my evo as a remote for my media center but having to push the top button is a pain and makes its use almost useless, if I turn off screen timeout I fry through the battery. Thanks in advance

You can change it to the camera button to wake up but that's all i know

There is an app to do this...however you must be rooted to install it, it allows you to swipe the screen in any pattern you define to turn on your phone. Alot of people use it because of the power button issues.

Look up "Ponury Gesture Mod" in the Play Store

How do I do this? I figured it out a week ago, rooted my phone and now I can't figure out how to do it again. Thanks
