Root [CDMA] Sd partition help

plague546

Newbie
Hey guys.
I'm hoping you can point me towards some info or a guide on partitioning my Sd card. I'm gonna see if I can get a 64 to work. I'm 1.58 s off. Thanks for any help.

Most recoveries have an option in the advanced section. Pretty easy once you get in there. Just ask if you have more questions

I know how to do it. I'm looking for values. I'm using ext4. Ive seen some conflicting info. One says swap one says skip, one says ext3 one says ext4. Hoping for some clarification.

I used ext4 on both my Ubuntu machine and my wifes OG evo.
Swap isn't needed unless you are booting from the SD card...

I guess I should ask...what is your goal? Why are you partitioning your card?

A2sd. Mostly looking to speed things up a little. New 64g card. I partitioned all my other cards on the OG. Seems like the thing to do. I'll post the guides I'm looking at when I get home from work

ok - You really don't need it on the evo3d - lots of space.
ext4 would be the best bet.

IM not even sure what ROMS have a2sd enabled?
