So if I'm understanding correctly, the reason your future builds will not work with anthrax is because of the changes you need to make to meet CM standards? Maybe Chad would be willing to update Anthrax to continue working after you make these changes. He has been great about things like this in the past. I'd be glad to relay the necessary info to him if you want to provide a bit more detail. There are a ton of anthrax fans around here, so it would be great to have it as a kernel option.

A couple things. This is a completely unofficial build from me. Think of it as a soak test. The official thread from me will come soon.

As for the couple things broke, I know they are broke and know how to fix them. Well all but MMS. No idea on that one. Lol

Also just as an FYI my future releases will make anthrax unusable. Well its breaks wifi. I'm aligning my builds to cm standards hoping to get it official.

Not a problem anthrax-wise. I prefer to keep aosp just that: aosp.

Not to clutter the thread, but I do not think this is the thread for this discussion. This should be a thread to help get a good stable rom. Kernel's should be made to work with roms. If JMZ is trying to go official, this rom will use a cm base kernel with our device specific files added. If at that point we have a fully working rom, then you can go to a kernel dev to look at getting something more for it. I have nothing against Anthrax (in fact I run it) but this thread should be focused on getting this rom stable as an AOSP rom. It is even better for us if JMZ wishes to make this official so that we will receive all the latest upstreams from CM and fully working builds. That is just my two cents. I could be wrong though.

Looking forward to CM10! Once all the kinks are worked out I'll give it a go.

CM9 has been great. I still get reboots occasionally (usually when opening apps), even after setting the minimum frequency to 384. I'm using the lulzactive governor but I've been thinking about trying another one to see if it helps with stability.

You can call this rom dead or whatever. I am focused on CM10. I nuked my cm9 repo by accident anyways. So it would take too much work to recreate. Closing this thing down. Expect CM10 thread shortly
