Root [CDMA] Sixaxis Controller (HELP)

I have an evo 3d I downloaded sixasix controller to it but it seems its not compatible with my bluetooth and i seen some videos wehre the same phone has it working any thought or suggestion on what i can do to get it to work??? right now im running (freEVO3d 2.3).
 
I think you need to run an AOSP ROM (Like CM7, CM9, MIUI, etc) to get bluetooth game controllers to work. Something in Sense blocks the use of them.

thanks for the help i was wondering wich of those that you mentioned is the better ROM and would u have a link to download it (sorry im a noob)
 
Which one is better is up for debate:

CM7 (Gingerbread) - {WIP} - *Unofficial* CyanogenMod 7 HTC Shooter - UPDATE Feb 08,2012 (Stable) - xda-developers

CM9 (ICS) - [ROM]Cyanogenmod 9 Unofficial Alpha[4.0.3] - xda-developers

ICS - [1-27-12][BETA][AOSP][ROM]Ice[4.0.3] - xda-developers

MIUI - [ROM]MIUI.us 2.1.6 HTC EVO 3D CDMA [01-07-2012] see post 2 for info! - xda-developers

CM7/9 - CM 7 and 9 are Cyanogenmod builds. Basically, it's the stock Google experience, but with some added mods and tweaks

ICS is mostly the build you see on the Galaxy Nexus. But it has some elements from the CM mods to help fill it out.

MIUI is an iPhone like experience.
 
thanks for the info man i really do apreciate it.... really try to get this sixaxis to work on my phone so i can play my EMU's..
 
If you really don't care about what ROM you install, I'd recommend the CM7 mod. It has the least stuff broken.
 
I don't think any Evo 3D AOSP ROMs have working wimax. Are you rooted with S-OFF or are you on HBOOT 1.5 with S-ON / Unlocked?
 
the evo 4g was lucky with so much dev support to have wimax on aosp roms. The 3d will not be so lucky i fear and no wimax on aosp roms.
 
At least the dev of the CM7 unofficial ROM is trying to get 4g working. Everyone else seems to be completely uninterested.
 
thats will suck if they cant get the wimax working for AOSP Roms on the 3d well right now i ahve the HBOOT 1.5 with S ON and unlocked but y do u ask???
 
Because if you were on HBOOT 1.4 with S-OFF, there is an app that makes it real easy to switch ROMs. I go back and forth from AOSP to Sense based ROMs depending on my mood.
