I'm confused as to what this thread is. Are you letting us know you tried out this ROM or are you developing something?
The bugs look like the ones from joelz's unnofficial cm9.
I'm running boot manager now and run cm7 as daily, switch to sense if I need 3d or whatever (the amaze camera rocks). And I have ics as a play thing.
How is boot manager going for you? I purchased back before i got my 3d and haven't used it on this device much cause it wasn't supprting anything I was trying to flash when i got my first 3vo.
I also jumped back into the AOSP, I missed it to say the least. I can live with out the WiMax, never used it anyway. Camera flash is borked and that's a little annoying, but there is a work around using the Torch app if need be.
I did run into an issue with the native WiFi Hotspot, I can get it to turn on, but can not connect to it. I tried to install the newest Wifi Tether app, and also pulled the one from CleanRom 3.0 but when trying to use either of them it conflicts with the native app. Regardless I can not connect to either of them.
This one may be a deal breaker for me, I use the hotspot feature a lot while traveling, to connect my laptop and my tablet to. If anyone has any idea's I would appreciate it. I was going to try and flash a different kernel, anthrax or something, but I can not find a thread or link...
Freeze the stock hotspot app and use the wifi tether one. I'm not sure it will fix it, as I don't tether, but it's worth a shot.
And the camera button doesn't work because it's not coded in the kernel. Very few phones have the camera button, so it's not something many people program into AOSP kernels.
So I traded one thing for another. I flashed AnthraX REV 009 and I now have my camera flash working, and the native hot spot working which is big for me, I tested and was able to connect, and use the internet from it.
I lost usb storage mounting though. Personally this isn't a big deal for my needs, I use drop box for just about everything that travels between my computer, phone and transformer. Anything large I can move through recovery usb mount (which does work) or simply use the SD card.
So far everything else seems to be working, I'll run this as my DD for a while and report back on any bugs that I find.
Try MyPhoneExplorer as a replacement to USB mounting. It uses your wifi LAN as a method to transfer files and doesn't require the phone to unmount the SD card. I use it on this ROM.
