Root [CDMA] wifi

I rooted my phone in August and everything was fine until the wifi tether v3.1 beta tried to update and now I get nothing. I tried to work and ask if my phone is rooted!! I uninstalled and reinstalled it and got nothing! HELP!! I need my internet!! Here is the thread I used to root my phone. Thanks

yeah barnacle wouldn't work for me. so I had to use the other. Sorry for the double post, using pda net to get online and it didn't post my first thread.
