Centura is the same as Samsung Discover (on Cricket Wireless)

I read on this website that there is another phone identical to the Centura but by a different carrier.

Samsung Discover, It's the same phone but on Cricket Wireless.

So if you need a case, screen cover or charger you can also search for the "Discover"

Are they 100% the same? I noticed when browsing ebay for a case, screen cover, and larger 1700mah battery, everhthing compatible with the Centura was also compatible with the phone you mentioned.

I just read on this website that they are the same, but I can't comment on it personally. I would guess that if you found that info on Ebay, along with what I posted........ I think it would be safe to assume it's true.

Well it also calls the Centura a 738c and the Discover is a 740c. I haven't looked up the differences.

I noticed this as well. However, now straight talk is offering it on their site and it is shaped differently than on the Samsung site. I'm thinking they may have updated the design. The discover seems to be less rounded on the corners so if you buy the straight talk version be careful ordering accessories. Here is the Centura www.shopstraighttalk.com/bpdirect/s...ction=view&productVariantExtensionId=22509064 and here is the discover www.shopstraighttalk.com/bpdirect/s...ction=view&productVariantExtensionId=21769481

Just wanted to correct myself. The Centura is 738 and Discover is 730.
Edit: Nevermind. I have seen the discover listed as a 730g and a 740c... So in reality I don't know which information is correct now...

I just figured it out. The Discover 730G is for net 10, The 740C is for Cricket wireless, and then there's the 730M which was only in Canada but now Straight talk is offering it in the US. The Canadian one is the one that is shaped different. The other two are exactly like the Centura.
